GENERAL QUESTIONS
Q: What is self-storage?
A: Self-storage allows you to rent a secure unit where you can store your personal or business belongings for short or long-term use.
Q: Who typically uses self-storage?
A: Homeowners, renters, students, businesses, and anyone needing extra space during moves, renovations, or decluttering.
Q: What can I store in my unit?
A: Most household and business items such as furniture, clothes, appliances, documents, and inventory. Items prohibited include hazardous materials, food, plants, weapons, and anything illegal.
Renting & Access
Q: How do I rent a unit?
A: You can reserve online, by phone, or in person at our facility. A valid ID and signed rental agreement are required. RENT HERE
Q: How long can I rent a unit?
A: Rentals are typically month-to-month, so you can store your belongings as long as you need.
Q: When can I access my storage unit?
We offer gate access 6am to 10pm. All gate access is records your entry and the gate camera videos the entry.
Q: Do I need my own lock?
A: Yes, you’ll need a secure lock. Bring your own or we sell approved locks on-site.
Costs & Payments
Q: How much does self-storage cost?
A: Prices depend on unit size, location, and features (such as climate control).
Q: Do I need to pay a deposit?
A: No, we do not require a deposit or admin fee; others torage facility may deposit or admin fee. Other facilities may charge a fee.
Q: How do I pay my bill?
A: Payments can be made online, by phone, auto-pay, or in person.
Security & Safety
Q: How secure are the units?
A: We have gated access, video surveillance, security lighting, and individual unit locks.
Q: Is my property insured?
A: Storage facilities typically require insurance. We require you to have insurance.
You may use your homeowner’s/renter’s policy or purchase storage insurance through the facility. In North Carolina the storage facility is not responsible for your stored items.
Q: Are climate-controlled units available?
A: Yes, climate-controlled units protect sensitive items like electronics, clothing, rugs, documents and wooden furniture from heat, cold, and humidity.
Moving & Packing
Q: Do you provide moving supplies?
A: We sell boxes, tape, locks bubble wrap and other packing materials on-site.
Q: Do you offer truck rental or moving help?
A: We are a UHaul affilate storage facility and offer truck rentals. We do not offer moving services, but we can put you in touch with movers in the area.
Q: How should I pack my unit?
A: Store heavier items on the bottom, leave walkways, and label all boxes clearly.
